PLACE OF WORK: Based at Party Head Office in D2, Dublin City Centre,
with remote working options.
HOURS OF WORK: Flexible, equivalent to average of 3-day week.
CONTRACT TYPE AND DURATION: Part-time, fixed term contract of one (1)
year duration with possible extension subject to funding.
STARTING DATE: To commence as soon as possible.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The purpose of the role is to ensure the timely implementation of the
Social Democrats? Local Election Incubation Programme (LEIP) for
Women Candidates. This role has been grant-aided by the Department of
Housing, Local Government and Heritage - Scheme to Increase the
Participation of Women in Local Government.
The overall objective of the Social Democrats? Programme is to
empower and enable women from all backgrounds to run successfully in

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Programme Manager will be responsible for adopting and
implementing the Incubation Programme to develop and support women
candidates for the Social Democrats party in the **Apply on the
website** Local Elections.
The LEIP is a hybrid training programme that incorporates a range of
measures to bring women from being interested in becoming politically
active, to being capable and successful candidates for the Social
Democrats in the next local elections.
The Programme Manager will work with the Party?s National Organiser
and report to the Party?s General Secretary.
JOB SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum of 3 years? relevant work experience / project management
* Excellent communication and engagement skills
* Excellent ITC skills
* Working knowledge of project management software

* Proven record of supporting women in public affairs, the working
environment, policy areas, etc.
